1 week of sickness

Well, haven't been feeling that all well for the entire past week. Bed ridden for almost the entire week with fever, headaches, flu and top that with sore throats due to the heaty Malaysian weather, no wonder I got so terribly sick. Thankfully, now i'm feeling much better and ready to take on an ox, haha.
Last week kinda started allright, as my holidays has officially started. About time if you asked me though, cause my course ended like 2 months ago =.= . On Monday had a late birthday dinner with Jo, which was supposed to be on the Sunday before. Since no one remembered to plan one for him on Church day, we did on Monday instead.

The dinner place was at some place called New Paris Restaurant, which is located in SS2. Being sceptical as always, since it was a Pasar Malam night, I went googling on the place before hand la. (Scared too close to the pasar malam area --> equals to massive congestion!) Luckily it's not that close nor far, sow as perfect. Weird thing was, that bloggers and forum bugs kept leaving comments about the place, like "Service is great! The food is so fast that even the drinks are not ready yet! =) ". Yea right!

Dinner Pic at New Paris

Hard to believe at first, but after seating down and ordering, our food came 5 to 10 minutes later. Wow! Doesn't that redefined fast food, ahakz! Well, with dinner done, on came the entertainment session --> DOTA till 1 a.m. . Oh boy, hadn;t DOTA in ages, and still under satisfactory levels, hehe

With all the happy moments, now comes the wet blanket. Woke up the next morning with a raging headache! It wasn't so bad at first, but as time passed it grew larger and larger and accompanied by a terrible fever. ARG! By wednesday fully bedridden and couldn't even get up at all. To make things worst, whole house was empty! Parents had went out to work and sisters were off to school. So, despite my constant moans of pain in bed, no one could reply or answer them. Jezz....

Poor ol' me had to lie in bed helplessly till 5 when everyone got home. Finally mum noticed me being sick and lying stiff in bed. Dad then promptly rushed me off to the family clinic, but unfortunately the doctor had went out for dinner. Had to wait for a long 30 minute before he finally came back (how irresponsible of him =.="). Yadee yadaa yadaa, the usual EMT checks and turns out that my sickness escalated to a fever of 40 degrees celcius. (PAIN!) So, was given a few medical prescriptions along with a very painfull injection in my butt =.=". OUCH!!!!!!

BTW, got extremely sick on the day of solar eclipse. (Superstituos much!)

By Friday started to feel better from all the medications and rest. (Ah, ray of sunshine from a week of gloomy hell =] ). So, decided to join the software class for a steamboat dinner in Kota Damansara. (Bad idea right?) Somehow ended up walloping 14 large sized prawns by myself, coz Yessy who was sharing the same pot with me was full after few fishballs. Turned out that she had a heavy MacD lunch.

Our Steamboat Begins!

Eujin Posing

After some fun, food, laughs and usual exchange of cold critics from 'em and Eujin, we all ended up DOTA again! Same old place, same game, same time. Haha, can't complain much as oppurtunities like this would fled from me soon. Going of to UK in Sept after all =( Anyways, woke up Saturday morning with fever and headaces again. Soon, the sore thraot kicked in and was bedridden again! WTF@!! Well, what would you expect after a steamboat right after the brink of recovery.

Aftermath of 14 prawns!

By Monday, everything was fine and I'm back to normal, alive and kicking. So, let bygones be bygones, right? =) Whatever's the case, I still haven't learnt my lesson. Got invited for another steamboat and BBQ these upcoming weekend. Guess I'm sure to get sick again soon! Yay me~ Signing off for now, Ciaoz

The Last Requiem has been played

Yahoo! Today was the last day of training! Thank You Dr. Christine for the last 2 weeks of what I considered 'fun', HAHA!

So today started off rough by waking up late. Normally I would wake up at 6 to beat the jam, but I been waking up at 8 instead to skip the jam =) Doesn;t really matter as class starts at 9.30 or so, giving me ample of time! However, today was special..... I woke up at 9.30 instead !!!! Haha, no more late night activities, LOL

Luckily arrived in class just 5 minutes before everyone went off for a 15 minute break. Nice timing. Lunch time came, and It was my first time having lunch with my lecturer. Whats more is it's not my E&E Lect, but Dr. Christine, the Deputy Head of the S&C engineering =P

Us at Ajisen

Lunch at Ajisen was super interesting. Jokes went around, Oocha drinking competition and everyone got their fair share of teases. Somehow Steven from year 2 got the most of it =)

Okay, maybe i got some fair share of it =)

Posing silly >=D

On my way back to class, my belt actually snapped all of a sudden ( and NO~~~ It's not because I ate a lot during lunch =_= ). Guess it knows how to commemorate the last 2 hours of training =D. Goodbye my belt which I had for 3 months. You'll be missed... sob... sob...

Upon returning to college, class continued and ended 1 hour later, because Dr. Christine had to go back to 1U to see the Art & Design Final Year students exhibition. Off she goes to 1U again. Class ended at 3.30 and CELEBRATION!!!! AHAKZ!~

Being the smarty 'pants' I am for the day.... Went to Curve to buy my new belt. Got a slick Black belt that cost reasanably good from FOS. then off to gym at Fitness ^^. Arg.... had to wait like 30 mins for one of the machine. So dulan! Anyways, dinner was at Vivo's, an american styled restaurant. A bit pricey, but all worth it. Their fish dishes are SUPER AMAZING! (8.5/10 Rating) the missing 1.5 marks according to Eujin who was with me was for the over bright interior deco. >=D (Seriously recommend it to all!)

On the way back, stopped by Asam Pedas to listen to the Live Band. Am so much in love with the lead singer's voice~ Not everyone can sing and perform in front of live passer-bys liek her k... Finally found a possible Friday night activity --> going to Curve 'Makan' and listen to the live band ^^ (FYI, for those who are BM illeterate, it means eat or dine!). She's really enchanted me in some way, even though she's not THE BEST. I think I'll upload a short clip of her singing to Facebook later on.

Even had time to meet some friends at TTDI plaza's Eckywoobee. Haha, had a nice compliment from the girls "You look like a 19 year old kid! What did you do?" and "You are cute!" . LOLZ!!!!! Never had such compliments before in my entire life! Maybe I ter-self perasaan, but who cares!?! I enjoy this type of compliments once in a while. So, bug off face k?

Newayz, time to sleep. Got a busy day ahead. Meeting my education agent, fetching sisters, cooking a 3 course meal for family and going to watch Potter Berbulu tomorow. Nitez peepz.

Ciaoz~

And now off to IBM Zzz-Training

Off from .Net Training and in into IBM training now. What a hectic life i'm still in right now. For some untold reason, I just realized i packe dmyself with activities all the way till the mid of August! What happened to the long ought for Holidays that I've been complaining about from months ago? Retarded ain't I?

Anyways, Was supposed to upload a few posts few weeks back about Father's Day and my 3 new gadjets, .Net Training and my new Bass Speakers, Soft Skills Training and Mama Walia, Steamboat Party and Lala Girl & finally Passport Day!. Guess I'l lleave them for another day la. Too many pics to filter through before actually being ready and 'legally' legiable to be posted =)

To sum things up, .Net training was one of the best moments in my life lately. Putting aside the occasional boring few minutes of lectures, the programmes that we were able to develop was absolutely fun. the 4 weeks ended with the creation of my own personal "Daiban National Bank" database , which is able to do what a bank normally does (BTW, Daiban means shit!)

There was also a soft skill workshop during the intermission of the 4 weeks training, where a maternal figure, Mama Walia took over the class for 3 whole days. The duration was too short if you asked me. If I'm not mistaken, almost everyone loved her not only because of her persoanlity, but her devotion and jokes as well ^^

Well, now stuck in the 3rd training session which is the Z/OS training sponsored by college by IBM Corp. So far so good gua.... Can understand faster as compared to .Net, since the lect is KBU's well profound 'Dr. Christine'. WOW~ She's one piece of a masterpiece! She really is an overflowing reservoir of information no matter what she teaches. Every term and detail she can really hit the nail on the head. No less expected from our Deputy head =)

So, there's a mini summary of my life for the past 2 months. (BTW, unofficial results are out and i got 2.1 only! Not entirely happy at all... )

=S
